Upper FM band HUGE meteor hit @ 2302 tonight. I was recording the whole band and got to see the MS decay high freqs first then to the bottom. Never seen that before. Almost all German signals with a few Dutch.

In an E season when regular countries refuse to say hello - Albania arrives from the weird zone beyond 2400 km. I heard more Albanians in a few mins today than in the previous three decades! The magic of E skip. 92.0 Radio Shqip from Tirana.

June 30th - 88.3 Iceland's RUV Ras 2 accidentally relaying E skip from 99.9 Classic FM, Sandale, England. The 2 x Ras 2 outlets on 88.3 both have main local transmitters on 99.9 so I'm guessing they are fed from the air. I've matched the classical audio to Classic FM.

June 26th is a special DX date for me - six years to the day after the first TAFM DX I was lucky to observe a monster of an opening in 2009 - an hour of signals from North America in the 4711 - 5260 km range and one jaw dropper from Montgomery Alabama @ 6456 km.

Congrats to Mike Bugaj in CT, @jjlehmann in MA, Bill Hepburn in ON (relog!), and Chris Lucas in NY, along with @dx_bryce, all logging Antena 3 87.7 from the Azores this morning!

How timely; mesmerizing spectral waveforms on Azores #FMDX #Es signals tonight. This is a 100% ocean path and I suspect the "wavy" pattern is as a result of the water underneath...

Watch it daily tbh. 😍

91.0 from eastern Greenland earlier today - it was so good at times over the space of two hours that my TEF portable and little loop had it and it was even on the portable / whip outside. A 100 watt outlet from Greenland for two hours isnt exactly run of the mill here btw 😂

Have had Greenland on 91.0 for the last hour and forty minutes - so strong at one point that it was decent on my tef portable and its little loop antenna - still there now weak with choppy fading. Nothing else around. Intercontinental dx at a mere 2095 km. Video to follow later.

The party continues...89.4 France Musique at Brest, NW France 158 kW, near the Atlantic, QRB 3610. Not enuf for RDS, but Shazam was ok with it. The piece is Les noces and appears on the playlist at this time. Thanks to Paul Logan for help verifying.

Wondering if anyone can make anything of this. Sounds like a program or station ID. The others in the mix are Azores, Portugal, and Spain. #Es #FMDX
