Residency itself isn’t actually that bad. I like medicine. What’s bad is the unwashed laundry, empty refrigerator, seeing your bf and dog 3-5 hours a day. Having to spend your one day off doing the above. That’s the draining part.

Told someone I liked them and made my intentions clear, validated their hesitations, but also told them I wasn’t going to chase them for a maybe. If you can’t be sure of me or see yourself being sure of me, then you’re not for me! I wasn’t even anxious after. Therapy works!!!

I used to get a lot of DMs about “I have X GPA or I failed Y class… will I still get in?” Listen, only a fool trips on what’s behind them. As long as you keep moving forward and improving along the way, things will happen for you.
