So far so good. People are building nifty stuff on top of the firehose of events. One person in particular took a 1M post window of that firehose and uploaded it to Hugging Face as an ML training dataset; which seems like an insignificant thing... and boy it blew up. 3/N

I went to sign up for the @GLEIF newsletter. But I am required to agree "my personal data can be used to receive advertising ...". That's a hard no. If a new global identity foundation thinks it's a good idea to sell my data, then I wonder about its culture and its mission.
