Until you’re ready to step into the hurt others are experiencing, you’re not ready to love like Christ. He stepped down from heaven to love us, the least we can do is step into the storm to care for others. He cares for them, so should we.

The explicit message I got growing up was: “You can’t depend on a man anymore. Times have changed.” Instead of: “Here’s how to identify a man you can depend on.” I will teach my daughters the latter

That Jesus is Himself God is the heart of the gospel because apart from His deity He could not save a single soul. No heresy so corrupts the gospel & robs it of its power as the teaching that Jesus is not God. Apart from His deity there is no gospel & no salvation. John MacArthur

When you love the world and yourself more than you love God you find every excuse you possibly can to retain that status. Those roadblocks are put there by you. Obedience to a Holy and eternal God that has immensely loved you and changed you shouldn't be too hard to live out.

Dear young girls, Don’t look up to the women who are stripping down and obsessed with their own beauty. Even if they call themselves a Christian, that’s not reflecting Christ. They’re trying to teach you that the most important thing is your own reflection. They are lying to you.

To the Christian, their action is on them, but your reaction is on you. They mocked & spat on Jesus but He didn't avenge Himself. We confess Jesus with our lips but our reaction is what will show if we are truly His disciple or if we are for our own interests.
