@notessensei @LegalEagle It also raises the issue of where to draw the line of purely machine or machine and human. If a human chooses the music to train the AI, is the outcome purely machine generated? That's apparently not the case for algorithmic composition software.

@NTranComposer I'd say: all and none of the above, a spectrum. Depends on one's definition of composition. I think that generative music still counts as being compositional, wherein the composer simply creates a set of conditions (a la Cage).
