Ali is now completing the MD portion of his degree with @McMasterMDPhD. I have never met anyone so ideally suited for a career as a physician-scientist! Both Ali and Hannah were also very well -supported by @CanSocVirol throughout their studies - an amazing community!

In January, Ali Zhang, a world class MD/PhD candidate also defended (with 23 papers!!!). Any group would be lucky to have trainees like Ali and @Hannah_Stacey_ once in a career. We are unbelievably privileged to have been lucky enough to train these brilliant scientists at once
