The scrappy upstart basketball team finally gets its first-ever win over UTC, 54-53 to advance to the second round of the NCAA tournament. Were 0-2 prior. #Mocs finish the year 27-8.

UTC was the best SoCon team through the course of the year by every measure. And the Mocs needed a borderline miracle tonight to Dance. That is the biggest indictment to the college basketball regular season I can think of.
