During 18-21 Nov 2024,@ncmrwfmoes is hosting the Weather and Climate Science for Service Partnership India (WCSSP) Meet. WCSSP is a research initiative built with the collaboration of the @moesgoi and the UK Met Office, and academic partners in India and UK.

On 19th Nov 2024 @ncmrwfmoes celebrated 30 years of Operational NWP in India as part of @IMDWeather 150 years celebrations. Secretary of MoES Dr. M. Ravichandran inaugurated the event in presence of all scientists, ex-directors and national/international collaboration partners.

On National Unity Day 2024, NCMRWF scientists and staff took the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas pledge to uphold the unity, integrity, and security of the nation, honoring the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. #RashtriyaEktaDiwas

A new study from NCMRWF is now published. "Atmospheric Kinetic Energy Spectra from Global and Regional NCMRWF Unified Modelling System." The study reveals distinct power-law patterns at synoptic and mesoscales, shedding light on NWP model performance. doi.org/10.1002/qj.4531
