What an incredible interaction. I was a longtime diver at the @auduboninstitute Aquarium of the Americas, and we had a large puffer fish that always swam over to me and hovered around while I was cleaning the tank. His eyes were so expressive. I loved that guy.

We lost tons of stock and homemade sauces. We also shop sales to fill our deep freezer. In elementary school, my dad lost his job, and the food insecurity really changed me. The freezer represented a major piece of security for me, particularly given our finances right now.
It’s small potatoes, but as people who eat well because we shop sales, make our own stocks, save bones, etc, losing that stuff stings.
#FirstWorldProblems: ordered an Aperol Spritz last night. They brought it in a tumbler, like I’d ordered a root beer float. No, they didn’t make it to match the size of the glass.
