🚨 NEW 🚨 In FY2024, the City of LA UNDERSPENT at least $513 MILLION on solving homelessness. 💰 The City of LA budgeted $1.3 billion for homelessness but spent only $599 million. It encumbered an additional $195 million for after the fiscal year which may or may not get spent.

🚨 CITY OF LA IS GOING BROKE 🚨 In the last year, the City has spent HALF its RESERVES. 💰 The City is supposed to save at least 5% of its General Fund for “unanticipated expenditures & revenue shortfalls." HOWEVER, the Reserve Fund started this fiscal year BELOW 5% at 4.12%!
