When restored from plastic pollution River Miti in Mumbai 🇮🇳 will be a pride for the city. Great to follow @AfrozShah1 and his incredible volunteers on a days work. They educate people along the river, clean the riverbeds, segregate plastics for recycling. Wondeful job!

Week 322. Lovely morning ocean cleanup. Marine debris being scooped out of the ocean and mangroves - off the coast of Mumbai. Plastic pollution and Marine species should not swim together. Our bit today - thousands of plastic piece being plucked out. Team Earth.

The fight goes on! @AfrozShah1 and his incredible volunteers cleared 8000 kg of debris from Mumbai beaches during weekend. The fight for a clean India 🇮🇳 gained huge momentum last week when the government announced ban on single use plastics. There is hope!

Week 323. Beach cleaning is: 1.Protecting the marine species from plastic pollution killing them. 2.Plastic not going in to deep ocean - and fattening the ocean gyres. 3.Clean and learn.Reduce single use plastic and garbage at home. 4.Then a clean beach. Our bit.
