Now that you have an area of specialization, pick up a problem to solve. 1. Start small, then, grow big in your problem solving using projects. 2. Follow current trends relating to applying #DS or #ML in that field (that is, learn how people get things done there). 4/5

Once you are able to understand this, now you need to think of an area of specialization you would love to apply this knowledge to solving their problems. Examples includes, fintech, healthcare, engineering and many more. 3/5

First and foremost, you have to get this off your hook, that data science isn't just about kaggle or zindi. Platforms like this are to sharpen and get you up to speed on the fundamentals to intuitively solve problems using ML and strong stats. 2/5
