Beta_Rank is updated for Week 1: - it's still overwhelmingly projections because we don't know that much yet - game data will get weighted in more heavily over the next 4 weeks

Preseason data summary (sort of) #24 Kansas St: - the offense has to improve and they really struggled to throw the ball - they return quite a bit so there is some definite upside - the schedule is not full of gimmee's though so they need to improve quickly

Preseason data summary for #19 TCU; - the pass heavy Frogs return the QB and OC, they could break into the top 10 on O - Avalos needs to get them in the fringy top 20 on defense this season - the schedule has a ton of tossups so if you don't beat the projection you need luck

Preseason data summary for #18 Baylor: - a bit surprised Spatival did not get a bigger job, but Baylor's offense should be good again this year - if the defense takes a step forward then the Bears could be very interesting - so many toss up games mean the record might not align

Preseason data summary for #17 Louisville: - the Cardinals don't return a ton on either side of the ball and don't have any glaring splits - Miller Moss played OK at USC and if Louisville gets the same QB they probably hold serve on offense - the schedule is extremely favorable

Preseason data summary for #16 Arizona St: - a lot coming back off a pretty good team - they were offense first, but slightly better at running the ball so might see them lean into passing this year - if they want to go deeper in playoff then defense needs to get into top 15

Preseason data summary for #10 Oklahoma: - I am not sure if Arbuckle is going to be an A+ hire, but he should be a huge improvement over Seth Littrell - the defense isn't at "Venables" level yet, but they have been really good and have a shot to be top 5 - brutal schedule though
