We recently received an exciting record of Dendroxena quadrimaculata from @imag15621152! He swept this Caterpillar Hunter from a birch canopy, near Alvie in the Highlands! It’s the most northern record of this species for the U.K. 🐛🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿#CarrionBeetles #InsectWeek21

Keep those records coming! Thanks to everyone who has submitted records so far this year and contributed to the #OilBeetleSurvey. We now have records as far south as Jersey, north to Yorkshire, east to East Anglia, and west to Cornwall and Pembrokeshire.
