just found out i am unable to access my own graduation this summer because the access needs of myself and many other Disabled students are ‘not viable’ due to ‘time constraints and cost’. devastated doesn’t even begin to cover it.

It is genuinely terrifying to live in a country where I have to wait two, three, four years for access to the care I need, but if I asked to die bc the treatable untreated symptoms I seek care for are overwhelming, I could be dead within days. All for treatable chronic conditions

I had my 3rd IUD insertion of my life today. The previous two were a horrific, painful nightmare. Today I was pretreated with oxycodone, lorazepam, ibuprofen and a cervical block. I hardly felt a thing. Every woman should have this option.

we are gonna have to have a talk about how disabled people blaming "addicts" for the tightening of regulations for medications deemed "addictive" is not helping you, but bolstering the belief that people who are addicted to pain meds end up there for funsies

My cousin’s school sent information for autistic girls to all the parents, with lists of autistic traits and a support group for parents of undiagnosed autistic girls, as they recognised this was a massive need at their school. How awesome is that! 😭
