We started the week in Sarajevo meeting the Minister of Civil Affairs of Bosnia & Herzegovina 🇧🇦 #DubravkaBošnjak . We talked about the importance of dialogue + cooperation with int. partners and #BiH’s international obligations relating to completing the demining process.

We had a productive meeting with @GCS_reports today. Committed to creating safe environments by eliminating landmines, IEDs and other explosive hazards, they also restore habitats. We heard about their inspiring work including their current support to 🇺🇦 with demining solutions.

Thanks for stopping @DiggerDTR. We appreciate the update about your latest solutions. With the help of 🇨🇭, their newest demining machine was provided to #Ukraine. The remote-controlled digger ploughs the ground at high speed, crushing or detonating anti-personnel mines.

#LaoPDR: Our 1⃣st Regional Land Release Course is underway with @ASEANMineAction+ National Regulatory Authority (NRA) Laos. Participants are taking on: 🔹Non-technical Survey & Technical Survey 🔹various clearance methods 🔹internal & external Quality Assurance/Control.

We had the pleasure to host the Ambassador of Switzerland in Bosnia and Herzegovina Mr. Daniel Hunn #SwissEmbassyBiH 🇨🇭, who handed out the certificates to our 15 participants from 9 different organisations.

Successfully delivered a Global Technical Survey course in 🇧🇦. A fantastic opportunity to exchange knowledge with colleagues from @norskfolkehjelp, @fsd__ch, @LebMineAction, @ANAMA_gov_az, #BiH AF, @euforbih, and @StateDeptPM WRA!

GICHD's Stanislav Damjanovic explains at #NDMUN25 side event that #MACRA should be a reference for demining accidents globally, to ensure #data is collected in a timely fashion. With this data, it will be easier to follow global trends & put appropriate responses in place.
