In 1988, I was robbed of the gold medal in what became one of the biggest controversies in boxing history. By the grace of God, a couple of years ago, the man who won that medal made the trip from South Korea to my home to return it to me, feeling it was rightfully mine.

Bob Backlund had one of the wildest career arcs ever. Did it all early in his career. Vanished in the mid 80's to become a phys ed teacher. Decided to do some work shoots, had a cup of coffee with Herb Abrams then went back to New York and won the WWF Title again.

When I was a kid I ate my vitamins, said my prayers because Hulk Hogan told me to. He was someone I looked up to; a larger-than-life presence I copied constantly growing up. The voice, flexing, charisma, he made you want to be bold, loud, confident. RIP, Hulk Hogan.
