Enjoyed stopping by the state of Ohio’s birthday party tonight at the Library of Congress in D.C. A group of Ohio teachers drove here back in 1953 to find our statehood documents & that eventually led to Congress officially enacting Ohio’s statehood day. Fun to celebrate today!

Start physical education in kindergarten. Bring back the presidential fitness test in middle school. Serve healthier food in school cafeterias. The best way to save on health costs in the long run is to have a healthier population in the first place.

Bring back the mental health institutions, so jails aren’t the front line of psychiatric care. Prioritize training for sheriffs & police officers, so they can serve at the highest level. It was an honor to join sheriffs from across our state tonight. Learned a ton & had some fun.
