Some people get into relationships just for sex, likes/rts on social media, & just to not be alone. I can’t relate to that, I’m dating to marry. I’m trying to grow with the same person for the rest of my life. Come home to the same person everyday. & experience life with them

2017 was a year for detoxing, learning lessons, & finding myself. I have removed all the toxic people & things from my life. I’ve learned who my real friends & fam are & I’ve found myself, my peace of mind, & true happiness. 2018 will be a year of prosperity, growth, & blessings

If you’re sacrificing more than you’re receiving , cut them off. Some people will not be ready for your level of loyalty & love that you’re willing to give them. However, you’re not obligated to wait around for them. There’s someone out there who is ready & waiting for you

I want to fall in love with someone at my own pace without pressure or a time constraint. I want to find someone that loves me for me without me ever having to wear a mask or hide parts of myself. I want to create a love that makes my deepest insecurities & flaws feel beautiful

I no longer invest my energy into ppl who dont reciprocate it. I dont plant my roots in places that hinder my growth. I refuse to try to build with ppl that break me down. I’ve settled for less than what I deserve & put up with things I shouldn’t have. But those days are over 😌

My trust is so fucked up & I’m so afraid of being hurt again that I end up pushing people away when I feel like I’m getting too attached 🤕

Don’t allow someone to come back into your life just because you have history together. If your relationship went from something beautiful to chaos, let those memories go. Accept that the past will never be the future. Stop going back to what your heart is trying to heal from

You’re allowed to walk away & cut off toxic people. You’re allowed to stop negative energy from entering your life. Don’t let anyone try to shame you for releasing what is weighing you down. Protecting your peace of mind & choosing happiness is NOT selfish

I keep people at a distance now, bc I’ve realized there’s a lot of people out there that only talk to you bc they’re bored. They’ll lead you on, fwu heavy, & then just disappear and stop talking to you out the blue when they’ve found something else to do. Smh it’s wild to me

If someone really wants to be with u & cares, u wont have to ask them to call you. You wont have to ask them to come see u. & you won’t have to ask them how they feel. You’d be one of their top priorities & you’d feel like it. Ppl only put in effort for things that matter to them

Having depression & anxiety is rough. You overthink & stress over trying to make the right decisions but are too tired to do anything. You want to be alone, but are afraid of being lonely & feeling empty. You can feel everything at once one minute then be completely numb the next

If your opinion of me is based on who I was a year ago, months ago, or shit even weeks ago, you don’t know me at all. My growth game is ridiculously strong asf. I wake up everyday stronger, better, & wiser than I was yesterday. Allow me to reintroduce myself 🙃

It’s hard to find someone real to build & grow with in this generation. People want to have sex, but don’t want any feelings attached to it. Then, they want you to themselves, while they entertain other people. It’s really wild to me. I’m chilling by myself until y’all grow up

I lose interest fast. im at this point in my life where I refuse to waste my time on anyone else. im not completely sure who it is I’m looking for, but I definitely know what i don’t want. & i can honestly tell pretty quickly if a relationship with someone is going to work or not

People will lie to you, do you dirty, cheat on you, ignore you until they feel like talking to you, then have the audacity to play the victim & act like you’re the bad person when you stop being nice to them. LMAOOOOOOO y’all are wild smh

At 1st, I thought I wasnt good enough, & that’s why my last relationship didnt work, but i realized that I was too much for them. They werent ready for the loyalty & love that I was giving them. They weren’t on the same level as me mentally. I realized it was their loss, not mine

Moving on doesnt mean you’ve forgotten them. It doesnt mean all the feelings are completely gone. Moving on means you’ve accepted the past is the past & will never be the future. You still care, but u dont want to be with them anymore. You’ve learned how to be happy without them
