The world will demand so much from you. But at the end of the day, never forget that you’re human. Just like everyone else. You’ll feel pain, you’ll get hurt, youll feel broken, you’ll break down. That’s part of the process called life. You’ll be okay in the end.

Stay clear of the herd mentality. Why should you do it just because everyone else is doing it? There’s no need to fit in. Let society say you’re the odd one out. Remember, at the end of the day, it’s better to walk alone than with a crowd headed in the wrong direction.

Kindness is contagious. Give your kindness away without expecting anything in return. The person you’re being kind to benefits through your help & you'll feel good for having helped someone. The world is made better through your kindness. We need this badly today.

Almighty. We beg You to grant us peace of mind amidst the turmoil we face in our daily lives. Don’t let the anxiety and stress get the better of us. Grant us clarity of vision to do what’s best. Guide us on this journey of life which is often paved with obstacles. Aameen.

Almighty. We’re all broken in one way or another. Our energy is sagging & our motivation is lagging. The pressures of life often get the better of us; we feel helpless at times. We know You have our backs. Grant us the strength to keep going & to overcome obstacles in our path.

These are not issues that the white men of that store are all too familiar with, however as a black person this is the reality of my life. The reality of many others lives, where false accusations as such have taken a drastic turn. #racism

I’m absolutely outraged by this and disgusted from my belly. I wasn’t given an apology, all that i was told was to move on and get out of the store.

In his tone he was very patronising and told me that I’m angry and mad (terms commonly used to describe black women when they are upset about being wronged). He then proceeded to call the police on me, who arrived and actually helped me to get my refund when the store refused.

I went to go speak to somebody about this matter and to also to get a refund for my purchases as my money should not be going into a racist establishment. There was a manager by the name of Lee, who had told me I must leave the store and threatened to call the police on me.

I cooperated with his requests and even showed my receipts, after doing so I was told I can leave. However, when I was being served another black male in self checkout was being accused of stealing when he wasn’t. So with this prior knowledge, I was not standing for this.

Last night, I was late night shopping at @Tesco for my sisters maternity bag. I spent near enough £80, only to be met with the micro-aggressions black people face on a daily. The security guard embarrassed me in front of the whole store and asked me to prove I bought what i had.
