आज प्रसिद्ध लेखक कमलेश्वर जी की जयंती है। उन्होंने हर विधा में अपनी एक छाप छोड़ी। कहानी, उपन्यास, फ़िल्म, टीवी, संपादन सबमें कमलेश्वर का अपना मक़ाम था। वे बहुत अच्छे कमेंटेटर भी थे। अपने अंतिम दिनों में उन्होंने 'अल्केमिस्ट' जैसे उपन्यास का अनुवाद किया। महा लिक्खाड़ लेखक को नमन!

केवल संयोग है कि 2021 की पहली किताब @RajkamalBooks ने शम्सुर्रहमान फ़ारूक़ी की 'कब्ज़े ज़माँ' ही शेड्यूल कर रखी थी। यह सोचकर कि साल की शुरुआत छोटे कलेवर वाले इस बड़े शाहकार से होनी चाहिए। तब कहाँ पता था कि यह यादगार उपन्यास "फ़ारूक़ी जी की याद में" जैसी पेशकश बन जाएगा... 1/2

अनुवादक रिज़वानुल हक़ ने वैसे तो 'कब्ज़े ज़माँ' का लिप्यंतरण ही अधिक किया है, लेकिन कुछ हिस्से अनुवाद करने लायक थे जिन्हें उन्होंने एहतियात से उर्दू की रफ़्तार में ढाला है। कवर डिजाइनर अनिल आहूजा हैं। उपन्यास अब प्रेस से आने की स्थिति में है। इसकी बुकिंग शुरू हो चुकी है। 2/2
