Alaa Massri was unlawfully arrested during a Black Lives Matter protest in Miami. She was her group’s medic. They took her hijab away from her. Took her mugshot without it. She wasn’t allowed to have her hijab for the seven hours she was detained. Seven hours. Alaa is 18.
