Folks, let's get real. Issue of private ownership of media & big Tech is irrelevant when they function as propaganda instruments of the state. In fact, their private ownership just confirms the extent of state-corporate integration. There is a word for this - fascism.

Instead of digital ID that allows governments to monitor us, it would be a much better idea to have digital ID that allows us to monitor government spending, MPs expenses, second jobs, conflicts of interest etc. They serve us. We don’t serve them.
