Whenever I see the prototypes for Noé he’s this stoic character and I think why mochijun chose against this is bc there needs to be a clear difference from past Noé and narrator Noé. Vanitas’ death (and other things) has to change Noe. It wouldn’t be as visible with OG Noe.

And if I said the vol 11 covers represent the time loop theory yup I can’t be normal Noé trapped in the gears of time always fated to be an onlooker to the tragedy of his life. Fated to yearn for Vanitas and his happiness but can never touch.

I don't even see this as an absurd theory but rather a fact waiting to be elaborated on. it's very funny how the story of Noé and Vanitas of the blue moon is very similar: they both wandered alone in the snow after being abandoned
