One aspect of the docs-as-code conversation needs to be expanded. Docs-as-code doesn't just include tools, but processes as well. If you treat docs like code, then you also organize work in sprints following agile scrum. #docsascode #writethedocs #techcomm

One misconception people often have about ventilated prose (sentence-per-line) is that each sentence must fit the width of the screen. That's not true. The lines can still (soft) wrap. What's important is that each line *starts* at the left margin. That's the essence of it.

Dear API publishers: it’s a nice thing if you provide a polished portal for documentation and/or libraries. But do never forget to have a download link for the OpenAPI / Swagger file also available as this is more helpful than anything else…

REST devs: You don't need reference docs, the message is self documenting through the rules of HTTP and HATEOAS explains interactions. GraphQL devs: You don't need reference docs, you have GraphiQL gRPC devs: You don't need reference docs, you have .proto files Y'all need docs

do you like/use #JSON patch (RFC 6902) that gives you a standardized way to #HTTP PATCH resources, but you're missing features in that format? @mnot is considering creating an updated version, at github.com/json-patch/jso… you can look at ideas and submit your own. #API
