475 days since Manchester's Glenbrook Property closed what was the UK's oldest working cinema, Birmingham's The Electric. It has been shut and rotting for 475 days while Glenbrook tries to find a way to knock it down for a 50floor tower. What an insult to Brummies

It's an utter embarrasment to Birmingham that the UK's most important grassroots arts street & a key city gateway looks like this. @BhamCityCouncil regeneration team should be working night & day to find the right investment to bring these venues back to life as an arts quarter.
