This is taught in argumentation classes, as a way of preventing debates from degenerating into endless #strawmanning. For the sake of public sanity, it needs to start being taught in journalism classes as well.

Of course politics is everything, for the elite. They owe their existence to it, as a class of 'elites' can only be established by #PoliticalMeans. However, to encourage the general populace to be less concerned with politics, wouldn't help fix the problems these elites created.

In American healthcare, the sick serve as living mechanisms of wealth-transfer between taxpayers and govt. cronies (including not only big pharma, but individual doctors and hospital admins). The problem with this system is #intervention, not #capitalism.
