Jarvis Spires, TX, & Joshua Henderson, TN, in ICU due to football training, likely EHS. Both are linemen, as virtually all football EHS cases are. Prevention > Treatment. EHS is 100% preventable!! Until we change how we train, these will continue! @NATA1950 @WeAreAFCA @SWATAD6

Zachary Martin-Polsenberg, a lineman, collapsed 6/29/17 and died of football EHS 10 days later. “Relentless worker with no quit in him.” Some players have a “do-or-die” mentality superseding personal safety. Coach-induced external motivation is a dangerous double-edged sword.
