Adult friendships are hard. Everyone is busy & life happens. I’ve learned you gotta let people know when you’re thinking about them. A simple “thinking of you, hope all is well” really goes a long way.

losing a parent when you’re still young is particularly painful because they miss so many of your milestones and that HURTS. i start a new job tomorrow that i am so excited about and i would give absolutely anything to tell my dad about it, he would’ve been so delighted💔

I’ve barely texted anyone back the last two weeks. It’s easy to post a tweet but it’s harder to have a genuine conversation and be fully present and engaged in conversation. So to all my friends just know I love you and I’m not ignoring you. My energy just isn’t there lately.
