Reminder that it's actually White people who got their own national anthem, not Black people. Lift every voice has been the Black national anthem since 1901. The Star Spangled Banner became the national anthem in 1931. Before that, it was the anthem of the former Confederacy

happy. He said it's the first time that someone actually called him by his name. He told me the staff has been calling him 'buddy' and he hates it because he is not their buddy. Calling him 'buddy' takes him back to the time when white people would call him 'boy'.

And another thing. It’s funny what gets labeled “politics” today. If you go with the status quo, you are objective, but if you challenge it, you’re just being political. It’s ridiculous, but we see this same mindset in many top news outlets now. And it’s a real shame.
