Father, Son, & Spirit are the almighty God, having the identical divine power & authority over creation. If you take a formal relational structure of power & authority & import it into the life of God, using it to distinguish between Father & Son, you are going to have problems.

Christian public theology shows its parochialism when it never stops to ask, do my arguments account for the realities of Christians in CCP-dominated China or Taliban-controlled Afghanistan? It shows that it has succumbed to worldliness when it depends upon historical progress.

It is unloving and (ironically) selfish to let someone continually sin against you. It is not loving: toward other (some future) victims, toward God who created you and other human beings to be loved and honored, and even toward the perpetrator who needs desperately to change.

Coincidence is the world's explanation of God's providence. There is no such thing as luck, chance, or happenstance. God rules all things with perfection and is working them in a purposeful direction. Trust Him, even when nothing seems to make sense.
