Heavy rains continue to move slowly north and east of the metro, leaving behind 2-3" in some locations. Sunshine is about to return across portions of the metro with 70s replaced by 80s out west. Rain chances look lower as we head through the evening in the metro. #okwx

MILD TODAY, THE COLD PLUNGE BEGINS SATURDAY: Highs today will be terrific and feel great with many areas in the 60s. The big cold front is still on track to hit OKC late today. Colder highs begin Saturday with very cold wind chills and some patchy light PM snow!
