Quick shift: I'm teaching surface area/volume today and was going to just do several "calculate the surface area/volume of this solid." I know that's kind of dry so now I'm doing "Which has the greater surface area/volume?" so students predict and use math to find the answer.

@fermatslibrary √2 = a/b leads to a^2 = 2 b^2 Left hand side : even number of prime factors Right hand side : odd number of prime factors Hence √2 can’t be rational. It works for any other prime number.
