Interesting how @Werner (Amazon CTO) went from yelling "you build it, you run it" in 2006 to "There is a clear increase in complexity when you move to a pervasive microservices setup. Was it easier in the days when everything was in a monolith? For some parts, definitely.” 🧵👇

Engineers can go low level and mess with helm charts and IaC modules if they so like, but you also offer them a golden path where they can easily self-serve what they need from the setup to run their apps independently.
