@mnolangray I’d be fine with entire residential city blocks in Vancouver being turned into Barcelona-style five or six story apartments with street level shops and restaurants. The apartments would be large, and four and five bedroom floorplans would be common. There would be no parking.

My advice to people who get cars stolen is, don't leave it outside. If you're concerned about theft during the day, make sure you have a good lock -- I'm pretty happy with Kryptonite -- and you can add a chain for extra security, but always bring it inside with you overnight.
