I am happy to announce the release of #netty 4.1.122.Final. Beside bug-fixing we also decided we will re-enable the usage of Unsafe by default while using Java24+, because the performance penalty is just too high without it for now. Check: netty.io/news/2025/06/0…

Just migrate our messaging system (mission critical) from a modified #Jetty 9.2 to #Netty 4.1.115 , YGC ↓ 50%， and CPU drop 1-5pt, code removed ~13k LOC, it works very well on AJDK 21.

Hi all, We released #netty 4.1.115.Final which includes various bugfixes but also include a fix for (CVE-2024-47535) which we rate as very low as the attacker needs to have access to the local filesystem with the right permissions. netty.io/news/2024/11/1…

We just released #netty 4.2.0.Alpha5 which will be our last alpha release of 4.2.0. This release fixes various bugs + changes the default ByteBufAllocator to AdaptiveByteBufAllocator. This should help to reduce the overall memory usage. See netty.io/news/2024/10/0…
