Bankers. Bankers asked for this. We could force banks to decline cards when there isn’t enough money to process the transaction but no, that would cost banks billions in fees they can charge customers who don’t have enough money. Being broke today means being broker tomorrow.

Here is the radio traffic after the shooting. It’s wild to me that they say “officer needs help,” then a helicopter is requested by dispatch, back up leaves the station — all before an ambulance is requested. This protocol never sits well with me.
