CZ compared FTT to Luna, and, it's essentially what it is if FTX will get acquired with a fucking hole on the users fund and FTT token has no purpose. obviouslly there's no infite mint dynamic but you get, its value is zero if FTX don't exist because of insolvency. wtf

It amazes me that Satoshi Nakamoto was able to create a commodity that not only has the lowest capital barriers to production of any commodity ever; but he/she/they were also able to guarantee truly fair distribution…🤯 I frequently sit in awe of #bitcoin’s characteristics.

Does CZ go for the killshot here? Announce ZERO trading fees, starve out FTX & Alameda and make it balance sheet war. Can even do client deposits bonus's for funds coming from FTX wallets completely drain their volume. Liquidity begets liquidity.

Nice to see that some folks in charge of CBDC development understand their duty to preserve personal privacy. Now they just need to understand that you can build systems where the personal data never even exists. Eliminate the question of storing it. Use #Monero .

I have a horrifying thought that the Alameda counterparty for the leveraged FTT exposure could be the solvency of FTX itself. As $22 FTT fell, ~400k worth of FTT open interest was eviscerated. Who else is capitulating with size at exactly that level except Alameda?

With a hard money, there is no such a thing as monetary policy. The price of every good is determined by supply & demand & the price of every stock by its fundamentals. People can save safely, investors can study one company competently & companies can plan rationally.
