אבא כותב: הבן שלי רס"ן אריאל בן משה שירת כמפקד בסיירת מטכ"ל. במשך היום טיהרו הכוחות ואריאל בראשם בית אחר בית. בבית האחרון היו 6 מחבלים והכוח התארגן לפוצץ אותו עליהם. ואז הגיע מודיעין שיתכן שיש בתוך הבית ילד יהודי חי. אריאל החליט להסתכן במטרה להציל את הילד, פרץ ראשון ונפגע מכדור.
