I love you all (but bigots!)
Please stick around or like a terrible Iranian mama I will inflict upon you so many reasons i need you. We all need you.
Sorry i don’t have better words. I will find them again too.❤️💕❤️
Sad I have to miss my half brothers wedding today. These decisions are never easy to make & when living with #mecfs it’s so hard to explain why we can do some things but not others. Grateful to my brother for understanding & knowing I can’t afford to jeopardise my health #pwME
Many people have tried to make my education inaccessible.
Finally, we have found people who are genuinely helpful.
But still the system gives me only one day of "rest" between two of exams.
I'm doing them from home.
I have rest breaks.
Yet still I can't cope.

when an honorarium check is over a year late, so late that you legit forgot about it, and it finally arrives one random friday when you check the mail at night and it’s for more than you remembered it’d be ...
To all good people contemplating suicide, it sucks out there but we need you desperately. You are vital to the effort to torment all the assholes. Stick around so we can dance on their graves.
“The lack of traction in pay parity is easily explained, if hard to accept: Because adjunct pay is so low, pay parity would involve a very large salary increase, one that most institutions are loath to provide.” chroni.cl/2swU8n9
The thing about being an adjunct prof that's probably the most existentially crushing is knowing that it doesn't get any better. There are no promotions, not raises, no increase in status. You're exploited, and they want to keep you that way.
