I have a steam question, when buying games that are bundled together, do the developers evenly share the profit from each sale of the bundle? Or does it count as game A gets its part of the sale price and game B gets theirs

I played a game on atari st 1024 about 35 years ago which was basically a dude with a 6 bullet revolver. There were floors and doors. The the enemies died in a splash of blood. The revolver had reload cycle. Have not a clue the name of said game. #gamedevs #games

I'm sure everyone knows this hack already, but I'm going to talk about it anyway, on the off-chance that it saves someone from going completely off-the-rails during their dev. It's a hint about scope, when you're feeling lost: steal it. 100% rip it off from another game.

one thing I've noticed about AAA games lately is that a lot of them really struggle with providing intrinsic rewards, opting instead to just plop a dozen different kinds of resources or collectibles in there that can be exchanged later for the stuff that actually matters
