Venezuelans voted for change. Maduro’s post-election repression has killed or jailed thousands, and winning candidate @EdmundoGU remains the best hope for democracy. We must not let Maduro and his representatives cling to power by force. The will of the people must be respected.

I spoke with Ukraine's new Foreign Minister @andrii_sybiha. He is a longtime partner and I'm confident we will continue the good work and close collaboration established by his predecessor. I look forward to seeing him in person in the weeks ahead.

Today the U.S. is providing another package of urgently needed weapons and equipment to help Ukraine defend its territory and its people against Russia’s ongoing attacks. The U.S. and the international coalition we have assembled continue to stand with Ukraine.

Enjoyed meeting students at El Dominco's English Immersion Program, where they are learning English with the help of @StateDept's language resources. English can be a social and economic ladder for many Dominicans, and we are dedicated to helping them achieve their aspirations.

With so many areas in which the United States and the Dominican Republic have shared interests, the team at @EmbajadaUSAenRD works diligently to ensure the partnership between our two countries remains strong and collaborative. Great to thank them in person today.

I visited Haiti at a moment of real challenge, but also at a moment of hope. The U.S. is committed to Haiti and showing the Haitian people that we are here to support Haiti as it gets on the path to a better, more prosperous, and more secure future.

Toured the Multinational Security Support mission facilities with @MSSMHaiti Force Commander General Otunge and @pnh_officiel Director General Rameau. With new equipment and resources, this coordination hub will scale up activities to help restore peace and security for Haitians.

I had the opportunity to meet with our dedicated team at @USEmbassyHaiti. Everyday, they work to strengthen the U.S.-Haiti relationship so our two nations can share the advantages of a more secure and democratic partnership.

Today, Haitian interim Prime Minister @ConilleGarry and I discussed next steps to improve security for the Haitian people, including supporting the success of the MSS mission and ensuring the Haitian people can democratically elect their leaders.

I met with Haitian Transitional Presidential Council head @EdgardLeblanc to discuss critical work being done to advance election preparations. The Council's efforts are crucial to ensuring the Haitian people can choose their leaders and to restore democratic governance in Haiti.

The United States secured the release of 135 political prisoners from Nicaragua. We thank President @BArevalodeLeon for welcoming them to Guatemala. Nicaraguans deserve democracy and freedom from persecution in their home country.

Today I spoke with Foreign Minister @DmytroKuleba to thank him for his principled leadership of Ukraine’s foreign policy. The United States will continue our enduring support to Ukraine in the face of Russia’s brutal aggression.

For the @StateDept to continue to lead with diplomacy, we have to make sure we’re not only attracting, but retaining the best possible workforce. Today I shared with our amazing team our strategy to help keep our talent, so we can best deliver for the American people.

Hersh Goldberg-Polin is an American hero who will be remembered for his kindness and selflessness. Our hearts break for Jon, Rachel, and their entire family, as well as the other families who found out today their loved ones won’t be coming home. May their memory be a blessing.

The killing of these hostages only further confirms Hamas’s depravity. It should release all the hostages immediately. We will continue to work with our partners in the region to secure an agreement without delay that frees the remaining hostages.

On International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances, we remember and stand with the victims and survivors of enforced disappearance and their families. We call upon governments to put an end to this egregious practice and respect human rights.

The U.S. welcomes recent agreements to resume humanitarian access across the Adré border and along the Dabbah Road, allowing lifesaving aid to reach millions of Sudanese. We will keep working with our partners to further expand and accelerate emergency aid deliveries in Sudan.

Today marks the seventh anniversary of the Burma military’s genocide and crimes against humanity targeting Rohingya. The United States continues to honor the victims and stand with the survivors as they seek justice and accountability for these atrocities.
