The entire South East has generated 101bn in VAT in 2024 and received almost 400bn from FAAC. While Lagos alone has generated over 2trn in same year with a little over 500bn from FAAC. If states start getting what they realized through VAT. You won't even have time to wail.

I have never seen a 50kg bag of rice in any store abroad. They usually come in 2kg, 5kg and 10kg bags. Walmart / Sam's Club, Costco, Kroger, Aldi...it's only in Nigeria that a low-income earner grabs a 50kg bag of rice every month.
