A severe T-storm watch has been issued until 8 PM EDT for much of the Northeast, spanning from Baltimore into central Maine. T-storms will develop through late afternoon & will primarily pose a threat for damaging winds, though isolated hail and a tornado or two are possible.

Noon: Visible satellite shows some breaks in this solid cloud deck up in northern counties. This will slowly build into the Metroplex PM and push temps back into the 70s later on. Areas south are still a pretty solid ovcst and showers will still live on for a couple more hours.

6:20PM: One severe storm just west of Denton on 380 moving ENE. High winds, some hail (lightning too). This is all we have now so it will impact areas up north through 8pm. More storms expected to develop after sunset (west) which could impact areas fro DFW north through 10-11pm.

Scattered rain and storms are expected tonight. The higher coverage looks to be north of Dallas & Fort Worth this evening. That's where a strong storm would be possible with some wind or small hail. Friday night football fans... some lightning delays here or there are possible.
