This is the modern computing experience.
Just look around and admire how far we've regressed.
Modern software is just great, isn't it?
It's also worth noting that Minecraft on linux is best played through third-party launchers as the first-party launcher is broken af.

I've noticed in the past few months I've been making less and less small partial-change commits, and more often making a commit per feature or per bugfix, rather than just constantly committing all my changes in incomplete states
I'm actually liking this approach much more
In the airport, going for a breakfast.
"Scan the barcode to order online"
Scan, select an option.
Comes with 2 scrambled eggs (I'm allergic)
Tick both "Remove scrambled eggs" boxes (one per-egg I guess).
Place order.
They bring food over.
Fried egg covering half the plate
I hate unreliable UI. UI should not be cool, it should be realiable. Low latency is also important. If the response can't be immediate, then there should at least be an immediate sound cue. Laggy UI makes the user to repeat their action. That's super frustrating.

Pushing commits at 4am cos I didn't quite finish the task I was working on before I left the office earlier and leaving it incomplete has kept me awake until now...
Anyways, big work task basically done, I can finally get back to doing fun programming and posting here again.
