Need everyone to remember that Tim does whatever he fucking wants & he has wanted to reveal Eddie is gay since season 2, he moved the show to ABC & came back as showrunner FOR BUDDIE, Tim does what Tim wants & Tim wants Gay-Eddie & Buddie maybe even more than the rest of us
Buddie is LITERALLY the shows ONLY saving grace right now, it's the only plot that seems worth watching at this point
Ravi not being promoted to series regular has nothing to do with Buddie becoming a couple or Hen/Chims potential to be the next captain, the real issue is that they made May & Harry regulars meaning we're gonna get more bs Athena plots instead of her just retiring like she should
I hate thinking about thatman but the scoff & eyeroll he gave when Buck called Eddie "straight" there is NO WAY they would've allowed that to stay in if they didn't want the audience to intentionally see & think "wait Eddie might not be straight" Eddie's gay is showing on purpose
Eddie doesn't know he's gay bc he thinks about it like "this is how I feel about boys & this is how I feel about girls & they are polar opposite feelings but obviously I'm supposed to date girls so there's nothing else to think about" like he just no-thoughts his way through life
Tim Minear thinks LoneStar tanked bc we wouldn't give it a chance, when really it tanked bc nobody likes Rob Lowe, so it makes perfect sense that he would think Nashville needed a gimmick like everybody being a musician, but that's exactly why nobody's gonna watch this one either
Chris was 5 when Shannon left & she was only back for 5 months, he had 5.5 years with her total. He was about to turn 8 when he met Buck, he's about to be 15, that's 7 years. Buck's been Eddie's co-parent better & longer than her, she should not still be apart of the story.
If they force Eddie to have ANOTHER Shannon closure plot I'm so petty I want the ep to end with him seeing her picture on the fridge & shaking his head laughing at himself for how ridiculous he's been & taking her picture & carelessly throwing it in a drawer bc he's so over it.
Shannon closure talk is so unrealistic bc their last conversation was her telling him that they did not love each other & it was over & he chose to ignore that completely & live in a fantasy. Ya'll think he'll listen to her ghost when he didn't even listen to her in life? bsffr
