Not to be a stereotypical 25 year old but drinking and partying and staying out late truly does enrich your life ! It’s like church in a way
@8bitfunk It’s the right thing to do in this stage of life. It feels right
@8bitfunk Not to be a stereotypical 25 year old but yeah, losing track of time with your people really does feel spiritual.
@8bitfunk There’s actually research on how church and clubs have the same phenomenon, bookmarking this so when I find it I’ll drop the link k
@8bitfunk It's fun until you're 30, broke, living with your parents, and wondering what the fk have you been doing for the past 10 years. 💀
@8bitfunk It does! And enjoy it (safely) bc it eventually stops and you will miss it.
@8bitfunk This is just sad. Wait til you grow up
@8bitfunk All it does is age you faster and put off all of the problems you’re trying to escape with partying making it harder to deal with later on. It also impacts your brain development and long term cognitive thinking. Not to mention alcohol is literal poison.
@8bitfunk THANK YOU! I had the best fuckin time doing this when things started opening up post covid when I was 26. I went hard! Now I don’t drink due to health reasons but I still go to my raves & have a blast. I really feel like I’m fully living life!!! It’s so good
@8bitfunk Thank u Morgan 8bitfunk from Twitter dot com. I'm 20 and I'm very excited to start spending time with people my age instead of rot in the house with nothing to do, nowhere to go, and no one to share with. Life can really be a magical thing
@8bitfunk You’re not supposed to get stuck in that lifestyle. Like others mentioned, it sharpens your social skills and can genuinely help you to maintain better balance in your life at later stages. The problem ia some people get stuck there and try to stay 21 for the rest of their lives!
@8bitfunk 100% necessary but has diminishing returns the longer you stay in the phase. Go hard 18-27, meet your friends sharpen your social skills, lock in after that.
@8bitfunk Sure but many run out that lifestyle too long and end up with nothing
@8bitfunk It’s developmentally normal at that age. After that though it’s weird
@8bitfunk As a 25 year old , no tf it doesn’t 😭 it damages your body it will catch up to you eventually. Take care of your body young
@8bitfunk When you're drawing your last breath, you wont be thinking about how you wish you spent more time working and less time getting pissed with randos, strangers and freaks
@8bitfunk It is. It will change as you get older but you are correct
@8bitfunk It is beautiful and fun! Never lose it! You can do it forever I promise
@8bitfunk Agree but only once a month/every two months
@8bitfunk That’s not a stereotypical 25 year old lol… most have grown out of that by then
@8bitfunk it makes my bones hurt and gives me a headache..and then i need 5 days to recover as i cant do anything but nap... sigh i wish i could do these things
@8bitfunk Definitely a 25 year old’s take. Don’t worry you’ll cringe reading this in 10 years.
@8bitfunk It’s all about community, release, and feeling alive....just with louder music and worse decisions!
@8bitfunk only till you 23, even earlier if you started doing allat prior to 21. after 23 it’s lame
@8bitfunk Give it a few years till it hits you.
@8bitfunk Just don’t call it growth unless you remember it.
@8bitfunk If u broke and liked this tweet .. there’s your problem 😂😂
@8bitfunk Correct. You’re supposed to be a hot girl until you’re 30 then it’s time to grow up and be a hot woman!
@8bitfunk I love hearing people my age's experiences because it's always so different. You're happy partying, I'm taking care of my babies, another friend told me the other day she's happy because she bought a coffee machine. 25 is fun lol
@8bitfunk Yes!!!!!! Besides, fascism thrives in purism and complacency. People need to have more fun and feel themselves instead if being 50 at 20
@8bitfunk I live for Saturday/Sundays @thegod_slayerr @bennyroach3
