There is plenty that family members can do to speed up the discharge process Check in advance with any local charities or organisations that may offer a supporting service such as LF&R which offers a home fire assessment.

If you need to travel to our emergency department please consider bringing a phone charging cable, any medication you are on including inhalers and a payment method to use the vending machines to make your wait more comfortable.
