Waiting to address climate change until we've fixed the broken systems that have led us into this crisis in the first place isn't an option: we must act now with the systems we have today. And in doing so, we'll also be transforming the very systems that most need to change.
We have to clean up our mess.
If we don't do something, by 2050 there will be more plastic than fish in the ocean.
Of the 238 million tons of plastic, only 14% got recycled. Instead of "just" focusing on recycling, we must refill, reuse, collect, reduce, and eliminate.

climate deniers (and the trollbot armies they employ) are a danger to society. block them, mute them & report them (a triple whammy for their account rating). Don't engage with them.

Happy Sweaty New Year! We are so excited to go into 2024 with some great new episodes, knowledgeable guests, and of course, even more slide whistle sounds! Cheers to another great year of solutions journalism! 🐧💦
It’s simple. The biggest single source of CO2 emissions in 🇺🇸 is transportation. That makes the speed of the #EV transition a key puzzle 🧩 for #ActOnClimate.
So what’s puzzling & infuriating is the atrocious pace of setting up EV charging. More on this #EpicFail in 🧵.
