The RE Battle Royale has been a super interesting experiment, not just to see how the hierarchy of musicals looks, but which types of fans are most active on the channel. :) Thanks for taking part and giving us some really cool data!

Tragic news today from #SriLanka about the Easter bombings. My heart goes out to the families of those affected. 💔 Many of those victims died today worshipping God, surrounded by their families. The terrorists responsible will not be so fortunate.

Another late (but rewarding) night of filming finished. 😎 I think my voice slipped a bit scene to scene, but the rest of the cast kicked a ton of butt all night long. Can't wait to show you guys next week! :D

But I hope that, by making projects like this, one day companies will consider working with YouTubers (like us!) to create the next #DetectivePikachu or #SonicMovie. Especially if geeks and gamers continue to climb the ranks and call the shots within the industry! ✊

I've noticed many people expected we were making a FULL Sonic fan film after the trailer, which is sadly not the case. 😟 We only planned for a five minute trailer and six songs. To pull off a movie, we'd unfortunately need to cancel 3-4 months of other RE music videos.

So glad to have gotten to work with this cast for SONIC THE HEDGEHOG: THE MUSICAL! They were all talented, delightful, and amazingly flexible to film with. This was a tricky project to make, but everyone made producing it FUN -- even after a full week of filming!

This month's project is unusual -- we're writing SEVERAL songs for it, which means it's a great opportunity to pick back through lots of half-finished work I left incomplete from past projects. The best ones get a second chance as part of our next musical. :)

As always, though, we work as though the problem is ours to fix. We actively read comments and watch Lets Players to track games we think fans will enjoy most. Hopefully that alone keeps Encounterers both interested and informed with what's new on RE! ^^;

If subscribers don't care about our new musical, that's on us. If they don't know about our new musical, though, that's on YouTube -- in which case, YouTube should either fix the subscribe function, or remove it (why would I need a fake-subscribe button?)

Just to expound on a Tweet from RE's account- RE has over 2.3 million subscribers. We'd like to believe that means 2.3 million people will be told when we make a new musical, but in reality, some 1.8 million people either don't care when we post a new song, or don't know. :/

Just finished up our Deltarune song (a couple hours ahead of its launch!) I was nervous to make another Undertale/Deltarune project, since I can be a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to games I love... 😅 But this song's a good reminder to show that love, not bottle it away.

That's not to say that "beats" don't matter. But my first order of business is ALWAYS to make a playful melody, and humming the drum part has never been particularly fun to me... So I use the beat to elevate the song's foundation, not construct it. \_(ツ)_/¯

Drums are one of my weakest songwriting points. 😱 I often save them for the end of the project, and only when I notice parts of the song feel lonely. While percussion should probably be the carbs of the meal, I tend to treat them like garnish. >_<
